Connecting, Learning, Growing Your Business

Peak of the Valley is two events in one: the Food Expo and a series of seven professional food industry workshops focused on key issues affecting three target audiences:

START-UPS

Entrepreneurs with a special recipe they want to market, chefs/restaurants looking to sell signature products, growers looking to create and sell value-added products.

EMERGING & ESTABLISHED COMPANIES

Whether you’re interested in taking a favorite recipe to market; are having frustration pricing and sorting your costs; or want to better understand the role of brokers and distributors, the workshops will focus on what you need to know with plenty of time for questions and answers.

Getting into grocery stores or club stores, establishing a broker network, working with distributors, doing private label, learning how to reduce costs and/or increase gross margin.

STUDENTS

Students interested in learning more about food production and the many facets involved in taking products successfully to market.
